Supporting scientists in developing countries

Seeding Labs provides a very unique and powerful service. They suppport scientists in developing countries with tools and information to innovate, teach, and learn. Seeding Labs works with labs and institutions that have equipment that may be reused and repurposed. They handle all the logistics of packaging, shipping, and delivering the equipment to a qualified network of scientists working in developing countries.

Sketching
We explored visual themes by trying to get inside the hearts and minds of key supporters who believe science can make a difference. We want to ignite the imagination about what the world could be when access to resources in developing countries is increased, and scientific equity is achieved.

Initial concepts
We explored visual themes emphasizing the “S” and evoking connections, equity, balance, and scientific discovery. The new symbol based on abstract beakers and geometric shapes reflects the organization’s balanced approach to increasing equity and promoting access to the power of science.

Final artwork and standards for a new brand
